X-Men: Apocalypse does not suck… it’s just O.K.

Since X-Men: Apocalypse was released in the U.K. it had been hit by a storm of bad reviews.  Scoring a disastrous 47% on Rotten Tomatoes, it is the second lowest rated X-Men film to date, just above X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which sits at 38%. You can probably blame the reviews for the movies 66% drop in ticket sales after two weeks in North America. But is the movie really that bad? I’m here to tell you that it really isn’t.

Is the movie better than X-Men: Days of Future Past? Not by a long shot. X-Men: First Class? No. It’s the poorest in a trilogy starring James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender as younger versions of Professor X and Magneto. But it’s not a bad movie. There’s actually nothing “bad” about this flick. Rather, it’s really entertaining to watch all the way threw, with no traces of boredom…
