A Lighting And Camera Work Review Of John Wick

John-Wick-PosterThis is gonna be analysis of the lighting and camera work in John Work and how it used to the movies advantage.

As you can see in the shot Keanu Reeves is centre frame with multiple lights in shot and some out of shot. One of the key lights is the green light (Source not seen in the shot)which is shining on half of our hero and half of the wall behind him.

The green light is used to light up the scenery as seen but it could also be used to connote our hero being the only “good” guy in the club (Due to green being related with good) with it being full of Hitmen and killers. Another thing to note is notice how the room…
