Movie Hits and Misses

I was excited about this film for multiple reasons but also nervous at the same time because of how much I enjoyed the previous movie in this long running franchise. They had made a massive comeback and I was worried they would ruin it by cashing in on the new-found fame. As the film started I grabbed my Reese’s Pieces and buckled up for what became a surprising experience.

Here we have another installment of a franchise that has turned in five films over the span of 19 years. It is quite an impressive feat, especially when you consider how far it fell before rising up again. The first was a vision of action and storytelling that was blended perfectly with an explosive climax that had us begging for more.
