US Film Chart 2015: Week 28

For the third week in a row, Inside Out narrowly beats Jurassic World, but for the first time in over a month neither film topped the chart, as the US finally got Minions, and rewarded it with $166 million.

It was a big week for new releases, as The Gallows and Self/less also make the top ten. Another notable new entry is Bollywood blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning which entered in eleventh to a respectable $4 million. San Andreas finally fell out of the chart along with Dope and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

Ant-Man will likely debut at the top of next week’s chart, though with a modest compared to this year’s billion dollar norm.
